Image Boards for "Kisses From Death"
With the script in hand (the then draft, which I first did a break down of) and with a recce of the "main" location, I was tasked to provide a series of "image boards", comprising sets/settings and proposed colors, for the visual language and aesthetics for discussion amongst the departments involved, before a direction(s) were finally decided moving forward with production.
At this time, the principles were yet to be casted as well, so there is no direct reference besides basic styl;ing choices, cheers.
And while I was credited as "Art Director" for this project, it was an automatic shift of gears as I adopted a POV as a "Production Designer", knowing full well I might not be (and ultimately could not) steer the project to my design direction or intention.
These boards where based on existing locals and gauged resources, with inspiration from a Kdrama I'd sourced for .. but that's for another feature, cheers.
